Theatre Tech

This page functions as an extended resumé. It gets nitty-gritty, so if you’re not here to request my services as a technician you may find it quite dull. You have been warned.

Ben’s experience with tech includes…

General load in and strike, light hanging and some board programming, sound set up and sound board operation. He has a flexible schedule and will often take jobs at short notice. He also loves opportunities to volunteer!

In 2013 Ben started working with Drayton Entertainment. With them he is gaining further experience in lighting and set construction.

Ben has two years’ experience at the Humanities Theatre at the University of Waterloo, his duties include:

  • Fly gallery operation
  • Sound setup
  • Running sound from back stage, for dance competitions
  • Follow spot operation.

He also volunteers at the Registry Theatre:
